Schwarzen Hammer*) was selected for the "2005 AWDF-USA
All Breed Nationals SCHH3".
At present times (2004-2006) we have here in Belgium about 5 Rottweilers (Yanos
v Heimat Dior*, Arrow vh Polderbos*,
Zyon vt
Singelberg*,
Cujo du Dauchant*,
Xari v Schloss Hexental*,
Benno v Schloss Hexental*) competing in CAC's
(Belgian All Breed Selections) at top level, also don't forget the Belgian
quality is probably the highest worldwide (take a look at the GSD, Malinois,
Rottweiler -Worldchampionships).
As for Germany: Rocco v Horster Dreieck (was one of the top scoring dogs all
times in Germany, as well in SCHH and Police dog trials as WPO and DPO2), Pascha
v Hegestrauch (received once 300/300 in SCHH3 ! ), Fjordbakkens Andy, Asko v
Wildfang (11th place on the W.Ch SCHH3 All Breeds in Luxemburg 1996) and many
others were selected for the German All Breed Nationals and performed top scores
(I can give you details but I have to look them up).
The Mil.DH Moritz v Karner became
vice-Champion of the Austrian Policedog Championship begin of the 90's.
Tyson vh Polderbos* was Belgian All Breed IPO3
Champion in 1998, do remember all the "big boys" from Belgium were there (2
Rottweilers were competing on a total of 21 dogs, other Rottweiler was Sako v
Royshof).
Aki* from Trond Ostvold was IPO1 Norwegian Champion
All Breeds + selected for Norway for the Worldchampionship IPO3 All Breeds in
Bordeaux 2004 (who was cancelled because of Rabies, if you remember).
Langhoffens Fax (USA) was in the All Breed Worldchampionship IPO3 in Belgium
1993 the most impressive dog from that championship, everybody agreed on that as
this dog was rewarded with the most standing ovations, however he didn't track
so well. He had the highest obedience + bitework score !
Lars v Alt Mengenich was the best Belgian in the Mondioring Worldchampionship in
Switzerland 1992 (only Rottweiler with rest Mali's).
Niko des Gardiens d'Athis was competing in 2003-2004-2005 in the French Nationals Mondioring 3, in 2005 he became 10th on about 50 dogs (almost all Malinois). He also won several trials and became Regional Champion of Paris.
Satco v Schloss Hexental* was top competing in "Veldwerk"
(Fieldwork Ringsport) in 1996-97, he won 1 trial in Koekelare (Belgium).
Uran du Detroit de Lancaster* (was my dog and I
still own his sister Ushi*) won the
clubchampionship Belgian Ring 10.07.05 in Kynosclub Heule (in presence of former
Belgian- and World Champion class) and the W.VL Championship 17.09.06, he was only Rottweiler.
Baldur v Schloss Hexental* won the clubchampionship
KNPV PH1 in Borkel (Holland) in june 2005, only Rottweiler.
I have seen Rottweilers doing things that NO OTHER dog can do better, maybe that
no other dog can.
I know Rottweilers who hit as hard as any other breed, who bite harder than any
other breed, who do obedience as good as any other breed and who track as good
as any other breed.
As for Belgium (also worldwide) do remember that about 2-3% of all IPO/SCHH dogs
are Rottweilers. You do understand that on a competition field as only
Rottweiler against 40 "other breed dogs" (read GSD and Mali) the chance is 40
times smaller to win...
